Terms of Hire

“Us” refers to Viking Group Ltd 

“You” refers to the person hiring  

“Customer” refers to the person hiring 

Rental period

Hire period starts from time of drop off and lasts for 24 hours or 48 hours. Depending on the agreed hire period.

Additional time with the machine is charged at the advertised rate.

Damage to machine 

In the event of theft or if the machine is dropped down stairs. Or if other damage occurs to the machine whilst in the customer's possession. The total cost of repair or replacement is changeable to the customer. including any or all attachments supplied upto £800.00 per machine See also (use of machine) below.

Cleaning 

The customer must empty the waste water from the machine after use. The machine must be returned in the same condition it was delivered in.

Carpet damage 

It is the Customer responsibility to check any solutions used. Are compatible with the type of carpet or fabric being cleaned. Customer responsibility to check that solutions are compatible for use with the machine. If using products not manufactured by rug doctor and for rug doctor machines.

Use of machine 

All carpets must be pre hovered before using any of our rug doctor machines. 

Upholstery must be free of debris before use.

Collection/ Delivery

The machine will be delivered to and collected from the hiring address within Thanet.

This service is not available outside of Thanet.

Customer cannot collect this item. (Delivery Only)

Basic carpet shampoo

The basic shampoo and cleaner supplied by us. Is compatible with the machine and in our opinion works to a satisfactory level. But it is a budget shampoo for best results. We recommend using rug doctor cleaning products. Available at most supermarkets or via links
