Beach Hut Services
We are currently only able to provide this service for beach huts that are 190 inches at their largest point.
Beach huts are made from wood and are exposed to salt air for long periods. As a result, they are prone to rot and, on occasion, parts may snap, fall, or break off. Due to the
difficulty in determining when such damage would be considered our responsibility by underwriters, we are unable to offer insurance on beach hut services at this time.
This is standard within the industry and has been the case for us since 2019.
We can still provide this service; however, it is done at the customer’s own risk.
Damage
Screws and bolts can become worn or damaged due to weathering or previous installations. This is unavoidable and may occasionally result in damage during
removal.
Felt can also be easily damaged during transport, installation, or removal. We offer replacement felt at £45.00 if purchased in advance.
Huts may also be accidentally damaged during assembly, so we recommend having your own insurance in place as a precaution.
Additional Items
Any additional items transported with your hut must be listed on the job sheet and paid for if you wish them to be covered by insurance.
Our operatives may, at their discretion and subject to available space, carry additional items free of charge. However, these items will not be covered by our insurance unless they
are declared and paid for in advance.
Spares
Our crews carry a limited supply of spare screws, nails, and felt. If used, these are provided free of charge; however, they may differ in size or colour from your existing
fittings.
If supplies run out, we may use alternative sizes to secure the hut. To ensure consistency, we recommend that you provide your own fittings.
Roofs
Occasionally, neighbouring beach huts may be positioned slightly outside their designated plots. This can prevent our crews from installing the roof
correctly. If this occurs, please contact the bay inspector.
Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable. Any changes to the booking date will require a new deposit.
Estimated Times
We are unable to make phone calls while working on the bays due to limited signal. For this reason, we cannot provide live updates on arrival times.
Timing is heavily dependent on factors such as:
The loading and installation time of previous huts
Delays caused by other contractors
On-site problem solving
We will update you of any significant delays once contact can be made with the crew. Please note there may be 2–3 hours between communication
opportunities.
We usually provide AM or PM time slots.
Booking
Beach hut forms are required to complete your booking.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all details are correct, including bay number, hut number, and collection/delivery addresses.

To avoid errors in bay numbers or details
To issue the correct method statement and risk assessment for Y/L
As part of both our booking process and Y/L requirements
A deposit is required to secure your booking.

This service is provided at the customer’s own risk.

Part Service: Transport and build or dismantle and transport
Full Service: Dismantle, transport, and rebuild the hut
Y/L
We will book the slot with Y/L for your hut. We have a different arangment with Y/L.

Transport only: Collect and drop off a dismantled beach hut to or from the bay
Part service: Transport and build OR dismantel and transport
Full service: Dismantel the hut - Transport the hut - Build the hut
