What is a base price?

This is what our prices start from for a small simple and straight forward local move.

Like a 1-2 bed sized property in Thanet.

Do i have to help the removals company?

No, that’s our job please leave the moving service to us.

How does the quote process work?

We then complete the in-person survey or live video call survey.

This it to confirm the pricing and plan your move properly.

How long can i spread the payments over?

12 months total

Is there a deposit?

Yes, Its 25%

The deposit is paid in 2 halves. The total deposit is 25%

Some of it, is at time of signing your credit agreement. The other part is collected after you have been accepted and have a moving date.

Is there a credit check?

Yes, our chosen finance provider will carry out the normal checks before proceeding. 

Top tip! Spreading over the full 12 months reduces the monthly payment. This can help with affordability.

Is this type of finance reglated?

No, this type of finance falls outside of the scope of the FCSA at the moment. (This may change in the future)

This does mean it is easier to obtain. So you must ensure this type of finance is suitable for your circumstances.

Our finance partner will conduct the normal affordability and ID checks before approving. 

How long does it take to accept me for removals finance?

It is normally instant. 

What areas do The Transporter Removals cover?

If you are moving long distance to or from Kent. Then we go anywhere within England and Wales. We operate in Kent, Margate, Canterbury, Medway areas.

Do you provide packing services?

Yes we do provide packing services and furniture wrapping.

Do removals provide boxes?

Yes we provide boxes and other packing materials. (See Here)

Can i just pay in one go?

Yes, sometimes we have offers for paying in one. 

Can i sign the finance agreement by post?

No, it is an online document. 

How exactly does a removals payment plan work?

After your quote is confirmed in person to ensure it is

Accurate and the move is planned properly.

We will send you the finance agreement online to sign

.

The deposit is paid in two separate transactions.

The finance company will take the first monthly payment at time of application.
This will also be the monthly payment amount going forward.

We will then collect the rest of the deposit later.
The total deposit will work out at 25% all together (give or take 2 pence)
Of the total quote amount.

The finance company (PIM) will take the first monthly payment straight away as part of their verification process.
We then take the rest of the deposit when you are ready to commit to a date.
If for any reason you do not meet their criteria. They will normally refund you within 3 working days,

(PIM) is a separate company that manages and funds finance for us.
We do not have any control over who they accept or do not accept for finance.

Yes, but check the included level and the terms cover everything you need it to.

Yes,  Sometimes people qualify for housing payments that may sometimes be used to fund the costs of

house removals /moving vans.

Thanet council and Canterbury council. Who may be able to help fund your removals throu HP payments.
